ICT in Education Policy Platform

Connecting policy-makers to transform education for lifelong learners

The ICT in Education Policy Platform offers countries a shared space dedicated to transforming education through innovative education policy. Through this online platform, countries create and discuss their respective plans and implementation. Ministry officials, academics, practitioners and other stakeholders engaged in the field of ICT in Education — from primary to higher education — are welcome to freely access resources, news, events, and join policy discussions worldwide.

Access resources at the intersection of research, policy, and practice

Also available are key policy development resources: the UNESCO ICT in Education Toolkit. This online toolkit guides users through the policy development process, and provide a comprehensive set of tools to improve the workflow of policy making. Resources are provided to help stakeholders deepen their understanding of ICT in education policymaking and inform their policy development as they create and discuss innovative education policies and implementation, and share their respective plans. Selected and curated by experts, resources available include real master plans, case studies, research reports, policy briefs, country reports and evaluations of existing initiatives to develop new regional and national ICT in Education policies. The Platform promotes open resources to facilitate the broad use and adaptation of knowledge products and tools.

Contribute to discussions, learn, and share

The Platform offers online forums, moderated by specialists, to share knowledge and best practices. Forums can also be initiated by stakeholders to gather input around their priority topics. In these forums, we aim to include independent views and to challenge assumptions on education policies and ICT in different countries and contexts. Thus, policies are aligned with contemporary realities and put into practice more efficiently.

Collaborate in a private working space

Private working groups can be arranged on the Platform to engage by invitation, small groups or teams around an event, workshop or topic.
